Rachel Fleischer, Founder, Director and Writer
A Los Angeles native, Rachel’s extensive work as a documentary filmmaker on her own films, as well as for CNN, PBS, History Channel and Playtone, led her to create Moving Memories, a service that combines her passion for altruism, storytelling and family history. The defacto “matriarch” and archivist for her own family, she saw how valuable this service might be for others and made it her mission to help families document their own stories to cherish and treasure amongst living family members and generations to come.
Dean Collins, Cinematographer & Editor
Dean has had great success as a radio talk show contest winner and inventor of the Shame Game (he also loves wine, women and kids.) The world has dubbed him the “Untouchable Uncrustable,” but he’s really a nice guy at heart. His ability to create meaningful relationships and spawn original ideas for content makes him the perfect Managing Director to help make Moving Memories a positive experience for all.
Blake Collins, Composer
The maestro himself, Blake studied music at UCLA and has cultivated his own brand of 60’s-tinged pop. Known around L.A. as “The Sultan of Song,” his aesthetic and big heart led him to co-create Moving Memories with his wife, Rachel. He also serves as the composer for the soundtrack to your Moving Memories and hopes you enjoy his work.
Jeremy Zelikovic, Head of Production
Born and raised in New York City to a family of Jewish Eastern European descent. Working on documentaries in high school was the beginning of a passion that ultimately led him to California where he studied film at Chapman University. His career has allowed him to document the Navajo nation in Arizona and even on set working for Steven Spielberg, whose own work documenting Holocaust survivers has always remained a north star to Jeremy. Thrilled to be working with old friends Rachel and Dean, Jeremy now serves Moving Memories as the liaison for all physical production needs.
